Review this user guide prior to logging in to the virtual platform and reference it as you navigate the virtual IEC. This guide provides guidance about system requirements. It also highlights the main features of the virtual IEC and shows how to make the most of your participation. It contains helpful tips about networking and communicating, accessing the components you have registered for or have access to, how to win a $100 Amazon gift card by engaging in the platform and more.


1. Marketing Packages

You can update your company profile as many times as you wish and as often as you wish!

Log in to the Company Showcase Service Center under "Service Centers".
Navigate through the Service Center by placing your mouse over "Service Centers" in the blue navigation bar.
View the video tutorial and review the FAQ.
Download the File Specifications for items being added to the eDirectory (Preferred & Elite marketing package holders only).
Ensure your company's profile is up-to-date.
Activate complimentary Lead Collection and add customized questions.
 



There is not a deadline, however, we recommend you complete your company directory and eDirectory (Preferred & Elite package holders) well before the start of the conference on Monday, October 19 so everything is showing as you want it when attendees begin accessing it.

You are able to update it as often as you wish through January 20, 2021. 


2. Networking/Scheduling/Leads

Everyone will have complimentary Lead Collection which can be customized. The information automatically provided will include Date & Time attendee visited; Attendee Name, Company Name, Title, and Email. You can review your leads in the Company Showcase Service Center (log in) under My Leads.

You can customize it by creating specific questions with a variety of ways to gather responses.

To create your customized Lead Collection -
www.rubberiec.org and look for it under Service Centers, Company Showcase Service Center (log In required), Company eDirectory Update.
Scroll down to Lead Capture Solution and click on Edit (left).
Click "Add Question" - follow the prompts, then click on "Add Answer"
Click "Save"
Repeat until you are satisfied.

 


To set up your availability, log into the Attendee Service Center under "Service Centers".

Once logged in, under "Service Centers", click on Networking/Book Appointments.

Click on "Time Blocks" tab
Check any times you are NOT AVAILABLE and do not want available for appointments.

You can search for attendees, click on the name to learn more about them, see how you match an attendee, make appointments with them, and bookmark them. You can also click the "Recommend" button to see who your matches are.
 
To view your and your staff's appointments, click "Staff Appointments" under "Service Centers".

5. Expo Credits and Refunds

Exhibitor accounts were given “refund by voucher” credit for the amount of your 2020 exhibit space which was/will be transferred to 2021 or 2022 based on your selection. 

Credits will not be transferred until AFTER the International Elastomer Conference being held October 19-23, 2020.


If your credit is larger than the balance due in 2021, the remaining balance will automatically be applied to 2022.


You may transfer the cost of the exhibit space (other fees are not transferrable) to 2021 or 2022.

Deadline to transfer funds is September 30, 2020. 

Email bethb@rubber.org as soon as possible.


4. Company Personnel Registration

Registering your personnel (staff) will allow them to schedule and receive appointment requests where they can chat and meet with attendees.

It provides them access to the Conference 
virtually (online) Monday, October 19 – Friday, October 23, 2020. Registered individuals will have access until January 20, 2021.


All registered attendees can access the keynote address, student colloquium presentations and posters as well as register for education courses.

3. Company Showcase

The IEC will be held virtually (online) Monday, October 19 – Friday, October 23, 2020 but will be accessible to all registered attendees until January 20, 2021. Since we can't meet in person at the expo, we will instead be featuring a Company Showcase featuring a wide variety of companies. Attendees can visit the Company Showcase to learn all about what these companies have to offer and connect with them to conduct business – email, appointments, chatting and video meetings will be available.

You are automatically included in the Company Showcase if you transferred your 2020 exhibit space investment to IEC 2021 or 2022.

Anyone who registers will be able to connect with you until January 20, 2021! You will not be required to sit at your computer to connect. They can schedule appointments with the Networking tool, as well as click on the “Connect” button within your company’s profile in the Company Showcase which will send a private email to the sales contact you have designated.

We have digital and print advertising in several industry publications promoting IEC and the Company Showcase component. There has been and will continue to be some editorial coverage from several media outlets where the Company Showcase will be mentioned. There will be email and social media marketing too. Rubber & Plastics News and Rubber Division, ACS will be promoting our IEC Planner heavily and it will be hosted on both websites. The IEC Planner will provide information about all components of IEC. Among other communications to attendees, the IEC Daily will be distributed to all attendees electronically Monday, Wednesday and Friday during IEC and attendees will be encouraged to visit the Company Showcase in these as well. A new General Attendee registration type was created for our virtual IEC and it includes free access to the Company Showcase, Keynote Address, Student Colloquium and 5K Walk/Run, so we expect many visitors to the Company Showcase.

It does allow you to have a great opportunity to network, chat and meet with attendees during the week by setting up appointments times in the Company Showcase Service Center if you choose.
