Community Housing Program
Madison Bikes, Madison's bicycle advocacy organization, is offering a two-night Cycling Community Housing Program (6/28-29) that help match hosts with accommodations in the Madison area with conference attendees in need of housing. PeopleForBikes is grateful for the assistance of Madison Bikes and the hospitality of the Madison community for hosting those who might otherwise find it a little too expensive to attend the conference. Madison Bikes is offering priority placement to attendees from non-profits, unaffiliated advocates, and students, but anyone may apply. If you are looking for guest housing, sign up ASAP as spaces will be matched on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Please read this brief program description before submitting an application.
If you are an interested host, fill out this application.
If you are a guest in need of lodging, fill out this application.
Note: This is a volunteer program, so it's possible that not all applications can be met, but all attempts will be made to provide free housing!
Transportation to and from all conference events will be provided. Taxis and other transport services are available and plentiful in Madison. Madison B-Cycle is also a great way to get around town. Please consider biking to explore Madison!
