10:45 AM - 12:15 PM MLTSS Symposium-- Discussion: Approaches to Medicare Coordination
Dual eligibles are among the most high-cost, high-use populations. States have long struggled how to maximize integration between Medicare and Medicaid. This session will provide an in-depth look at approaches states are taking to integrate financing and service delivery for dual eligibles.

Natural supports for consumers needing LTSS is the biggest source of care. When caregivers burn out, it increases costs and affect consumers quality of life. This session will highlight a recently-released study on this topic as well as efforts to focus on this sometimes overlooked aspect of LTSS in states and plans.
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM MLTSS Symposium -- Discussion: Making MLTSS Quality Measurement Work
Standardized measures. Alternative payment models. Measuring and paying for quality in the HCBS space continues to challenge states and health plans. This session will briefly discuss some approaches to HCBS QMs and ways states can incent quality outcomes.
10:00 AM - 12:15 PM MLTSS Symposium -- Roundtable Brainstorming: Implementing the MLTSS Regulations
This session will be the basis for new MLTSS Institute white papers on key challenges inherent in the new MLTSS regulations. Participants will brainstorm program design and operational solutions for both states and health plans.
