A. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and can be forwarded to registration@nabasouthern.org. The request must be received by September 5, 2019, no later than 5 p.m. ET.  A $20 transaction fee will be deducted from the registration refund.  Refunds will not be issued to non-attendees nor cancellations made after September 5, 2019, for any reason.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Students must be a paid NABA Student Member as of date of registration. If membership status is not current at time of registration, membership fees of $35 will be added to the conference fees.

A: If you do not have a major GPA, use your Overall GPA.

A: You can log into your profile to confirm that your resume has been uploaded successfully.

A: You can still register for the conference, if you are a student member of NABA in good standing (e.g. you are a current dues paid member).

A: Yes, there is no restriction on the number of student conferences that you can attend.

A: No. We understand your resume may not be ready upon registration so it is not required for registration, however, we recommend you log into your profile within the Attendee Center and upload your resume as soon as it is ready to be considered for interview pre-selection.

A: Yes. Please log into the Attendee Center and follow the registration steps until you reach the session selection page.

A: When available, you can find the agenda on the homepage under "Home" then submenu "Conference Schedule".

A. Online volunteer registration will remain open until one week before the
start of the conference. Online volunteer registration is recommended, to obtain priority and/or preference on volunteer times and slots. Onsite volunteer registration will be open 9/19/19 – 9/21/19.

Note: Onsite volunteer registration availability will be assigned with “specific needs only” basis.

A. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (i.e. email) and can be forwarded to volunteers@nabasouthern.org. The request must be received by September 5, 2019 no later than 5PM EST. The registrant’s Chapter and Southern Region Leadership Team will be notified to communicate any cancellations made after September 5, 2019.

Note: Volunteers are a critical part to ensuring all students have an outstanding experience onsite at the 2019 SRSC. The event organizers require advance notice to ensure all vacant volunteer spots are filled so that onsite coordination efforts are handled without error. If you are not certain you’ll be able to commit to your volunteer assignments, please confirm your schedule by September 5, 2019.

A. No. Volunteers are not required to be paid NABA professional members during volunteer registration. However, NABA professional member volunteers are required to be paid members of record as of 10/31/2019 to received Southern Region Volunteer Chapter credit for participation at the conference.

Note: Southern Region volunteer chapter credit is assigned to each member that volunteers (NABA Member in good standing) online or onsite at the NABA SRSC. Credits can be used as fundraising measures for local chapter’s programming & operating initiatives.

A. No. NABA Southern Region will not be issuing CPE credit for any professional volunteers participating at the conference

A. Yes. Please log-in to the attendee center and follow the registration steps until you reach the session selection page. See the “What is the volunteer cancellation policy” FAQ above for additional guidance on making registration cancellations or edits.

A. Refer to the” NABA SRSC Volunteer Registration is OPEN” email communication sent which includes a “Volunteer Opportunities” link outlining these details.

Alternatively, email volunteers@nabasouthern.org to request details about the volunteer roles & duties typically assigned to various shifts.

Note: Onsite volunteer expectation call will be held approximately 1-2 weeks prior to NABA SRSC. This call will provide a detailed overview to all volunteers on what’s expected and needed for preparation prior to arriving onsite at the NABA SRSC.

A. Yes. Onsite volunteers will have meal/dining accommodations arrangements for 9/19 and 9/20 lunch only. These accommodations will be arranged based on dietary restrictions input noted during the online volunteer registration process. Volunteers are responsible for making individual arrangements for breakfast and dinner.

A. No. All inquiries regarding volunteer costs reimbursements should be directed to your local chapter’s leadership team (i.e. local NABA Board of Directors).

A. All onsite volunteer participants are required to input T-shirt details during the online registration process. This information will be used to obtain and distribute T-shirts onsite at the onsite volunteer registration check-in/out area. Volunteers participating in off-site resume and scholarship application review only should contact volunteers@nabasouthern.org for inquiries on T-shirt details.

A. A volunteer report will be shared with the Southern Region and local chapter leadership team post-conference for membership status verification. Submit a request to volunteers@nabasouthern.org to obtain an individual hours report.

A. No. Currently awards are not being issued by the Southern Region. However, coordinate with your local chapter leadership team (i.e. local NABA Board of Directors) on volunteer award criteria that may be applicable for your local chapter.
