Conference Overview
Onboarding by NABA is the national student conference being held at the 2019 NABA National Convention and Expo. The student conference is designed to meet three strategic goals:
Get Ready Track: Provide intensive, short-term preparation and professional development for students who will attend the 2019 NABA Convention and Exposition Career Fair.
Get Set Track: Expose students to career pathways in the accounting and finance field.
Go Track: Engage NABA students in networking and learning opportunities with NABA professional members and partners.
Onboarding is designed to help integrate students into the working world by providing tools to assist them with securing employment upon graduation from college.
The schedule for Onboarding by NABA activities maximizes the most productive use of student time at the conference by providing them with sessions customized to achieve the three strategic goals, as well as time to network with other conference attendees, prepare for and attend the career fair, and participate in interviews and partner-hosted recruiting events.
*Attendance at Thursday Onboarding sessions, as well as the Celebration of Scholars luncheon are mandatory for students using their student registration to obtain admittance to the Career Fair.
