MSA FORWARD 2025 SILENT AUCTION
 

Showcase your extraordinary products and support MSA at the same time!

SUBMIT YOUR DONATION


Each year during the MSA FORWARD Conference and Expo, MSA stages a silent auction filled with amazing donations from vendors, museums, and cultural institutions. At the 70th Annual MSA FORWARD Retail Conference & Expo, taking place May 5-9, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA, we will keep that tradition going, again.

This year, the funds raised will support MSA Memorial Scholarship Fund. Plus, 10% of the auction proceeds benefit the hosting of the Western Chapter! Convention attendees from both MSA and AAM will be able to bid on items.

Important things to know about the auction:

  • All items must be picked up by the winning bidder at the end of the event from the MSA Silent Auction booth on the showroom floor, shipping and storage is not available.
  • Auction donations must be product(s) or experiences. Please note that donations should be items or experiences for personal/individual use. Gift certificates or discounts for wholesale orders will not be accepted.
  • To have your items displayed onsite during the Expo you must be an exhibiting vendor or participating institution.  ???????All members are invited to donate. However, those not attending MSA Forward will only be listed in the app. Their donations won’t be on the auction floor. They will be responsible for shipping their donation to the winning bidder.
  • ???????One donation per vendor/institution will be accepted.
  • The minimum value of your donation should be $100. However, there will be space in the Expo Hall this year for a very limited amount of items that will have a retail value of $50-100. There are 20 spaces available for donations in this range to be displayed during the Expo.
  • After reaching the limit of space for display during the Expo there will be an option to have the donation be available in app only.
  • Please include any display pieces, risers, or stands you would like used to display your donated item as part of your auction donation.
  • MSA and the MSA Western Chapter will accept in-person donations turned in at MSA FORWARD with details to be sent once your submission is received and accepted.
  • Acceptance of a donation is at the discretion of the MSA FORWARD Silent Auction Committe.
TO SUBMIT
We are very excited to hold the auction online throughout the event using Auctria, an app that will link from the conference app and be accessible by QR code. The auction will be promoted heavily throughout the conference, and it will be open to AAM attendees.

More About Your Submission:

  • Please be prepared to submit the item(s) for consideration with an accurate description of your item(s), accurate photo(s), and the fair market value of the item.
  • Information should be submitted using this "Submit Your Donation" link or the button above.
  • The space for the display is 12x12x18 inches. If you are thinking of submitting a bundle or basket, please make sure it fits.
  • Please fill the form out completely and include the requested photos to be considered for the 2025 Auction. If your submission is accepted, we will provide additional details on how to deliver to the conference.

The deadline to submit your virtual auction donation form is
Friday, March 28, 2025. EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, APRIL 4, 2025!!


Auction donors will be listed in an upcoming issue of MSA News Brief and will get great publicity from having their items displayed and shopped at the silent auction. Let the bidding wars begin!
