Edward “EJ” Jackson Senior Vice President & General Manager, Security & Fraud Solutions EJ Jackson is Senior Vice President of the Security and Fraud business unit in First Data. Named to the position in September 2017, he manages the strategic direction and growth of the Security and Fraud Solutions portfolios. EJ first joined First Data in January 2017, to establish the Integrated Solutions Group, or ISG, a team dedicated to working with software developers and technology providers to help them grow their business. In leading ISG, EJ strengthened the relationships with integrated software vendors (ISVs), middleware providers, and other tech companies, and significantly raised Frist Data profile in the developer community. Prior to joining First Data, EJ spent three years with SAP, the global enterprise software company, where he served as SVP and GM of SAP Anywhere, a front-office, mobile-first SaaS solution that enables small businesses to run virtually every element of their business from any device or location. He was responsible for the overall business, product strategy, and dedicated approach to smaller companies looking to leverage SAP technology and partners. EJ also founded, and was the CEO of, Provade, Inc., a vendor management system SaaS solution provider serving numerous Fortune 1000 companies that was acquired by Pinnacle Group in 2011. His entrepreneurial spirit served him well in other leadership and strategy positions prior to Provade, including founding SkillsVillage, which was acquired by PeopleSoft in 2001. Jackson also served as vice president of strategy at Elance, and among other startup leadership roles. Jackson holds a dual bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer science from the University of New Mexico. He is based in San Francisco, California. |
