Tara Mitchell is a Risk Strategy Analyst with Uber’s Risk Team. She specializes in Asia Pacific markets, investigating and managing payment losses as well as incentive program abuse. Prior to Uber, she managed fraud and risk at Etsy for 3.5 years as a Senior Risk Analyst, and interned as a financial investigator with the IRS Criminal Investigations Division. She graduated from University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Bachelors in Accounting and a Bachelors in Business. She has previously given talks on risk and fraud topics at Merchant Risk Council conferences in 2015 and 2017, and Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing 2017. |
