Sr. Director - Payments, Risk Operations & BI Trevor Nies is a payments and risk professional with over 17 years of ecommerce experience. He is responsible for all of Microsoft’s payment providers and optimization which includes developing the provider strategy, overseeing the business development, process design, payment provider management, payment optimization and operational aspects in support of ecommerce payments. Mr. Nies is responsible for payment fraud operations for Microsoft’s Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to Business (B2B) ecommerce businesses which include Xbox, Microsoft Store Online, Windows 10 Store, Bing Ads, Azure, Office 365, and many others. Mr. Nies is also responsible for ecommerce business analytics which encompasses bank authorization rates, cost of payments, chargebacks, currency stored value, payouts, etc. Microsoft’s ecommerce businesses accounts for billions of Microsoft’s revenue and processes payments in 241 countries and offers 18 different payment types to its customers. |
