Education Credits

Important Credit Information – Process Update

The continuing education credit process has changed for 2026. Please review the information on this page carefully and follow the instructions below to receive your credits:

  • Attend/participate in the educational activity and review all course materials.  

  • Scan in and out of all attended sessions. Attendees must stay for the entirety of the session in order to receive credit.   

  • After each session, complete the session/speaker evaluation using the LeadingAge PA mobile app. 

  • After the conference, log in to your Registration Service Center to access your certificates.  The deadline to access your certificates is July 13, 2026.  

  • For NAB/NCERS (NHA and PCHA) requestors, your record will be uploaded to NABVerify within 30 days after the conference conclusion. Please visit https://www.nabweb.org/manage-my-account within 30 days after the conference to access your certificate. 


Credit Designation for Nursing


Kairos Health Systems, an affiliate of LeadingAge PA, is an approved Provider by the Board of Registered Nursing, State of California (CBRN). This continuing nursing education activity is designated for 8 contact hours.


Sessions awarding nursing credit: 01-A, 02-B, 39-B, 10-C, 04-E, 05-F, 13-G, 36-H, 16-J


Nursing Home Administrators
This program has been approved for Continuing Education for 14 total participant hours by NAB/NCERS—Approval #20270510-65-A118557-IN
 
Personal Care Home Administrator

As a NAB certified sponsor, LeadingAge PA can offer continuing education credits for PA personal care home administrators only in content areas from the domains of Practice for Residential Care/Assisted Living core of knowledge. According to the revised 2011 DPW regulations for personal care home administrators, DPW will accept courses approved by the National Administrators Board/National Continuing Education Review Service. A final list of applicable sessions will be available at the conference.

This conference also contains sessions related to Pennsylvania-specific infection control and emergency preparedness requirements:

Social Workers
A recommended maximum of 8 continuing education hours for social workers may be earned based on session participation.

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance listing the sessions attended and corresponding recommended credit hours. Participants are responsible for self-reporting these hours to credential organizations in accordance with their recertification requirements. Acceptance of credit is at the discretion of the credentialing body.


Sessions recommended for social worker credit: GS-1, 38-A, 45-B, 10-C, 41-D, 05-F, 48-G, 36-H

 
Human Resources

This event offers a recommended total of up to 9 HR professional development hours based on session attendance. These hours are not pre-approved by an accrediting body. 

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance listing the sessions attended and recommended credit hours. Participants are responsible for self-reporting these hours to credential organizations in accordance with their recertification requirements. Acceptance of credit is at the discretion of the credentialing body.


Sessions recommended for HR credit:  GS-1, 18-A, 09-A, 20-C, 40-C, 11-D, 34-F, 42-G, 26-I, 16-J



Finance Professionals


LeadingAge PA is a registered program sponsor with the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy (PX#000987L). There are 13.2 CPE credit hours available for this program.

Prerequisite: Prior knowledge in the area of non-profit long-term care/healthcare.
