As you can imagine, the PDH process for this year will be quite different since each IDEAcon registrant has access to two different virtual conference platforms.
Here is a breakdown of what we will be doing:
February 1-6 (TCEA Convention platform)
You have access to ALL recorded and on-demand sessions on the TCEA platform through March 5th.
The system tracks the sessions you “attend”. You can fill out the “Evaluation” (they are also sending emails after every session). It allows you to print a certificate, but these cannot be used for Illinois PDH’s.
After March 22nd, we will send every IDEAcon registrant an email with the ISBE forms you always fill out. These forms will be individualized with the number of hours you attended within the TCEA platform. If you spent 20 hours then you will receive 20 PDH’s.
February 8-24 (IDEAcon platform)
You will gain access to the IDEAcon platform on February 8th. You will have access to all LIVE sessions and recorded sessions on the IDEAcon platform through March 28th.
Our system also tracks the sessions you “attend”. We are not, however, using an “Evaluation” within the system.
After March 29th, we will send every IDEAcon registrant an email with the ISBE forms again. These forms will be also individualized with the number of hours you attended within our virtual platform. If you spent 35 hours in sessions then you will receive 35 PDH’s.
For any questions, please feel free to email pdh@ideaillinois.org. We will answer any questions as soon as possible.
