Why Attend?

IDEAcon is excited to team up with TCEA's Convention & Exposition this February to provide expanded virtual learning opportunities and new ways for educators to grow their professional learning networks.

This innovative conference offers more than three weeks of programming from two trusted networks — IDEA and TCEA. Live sessions begin with six days of conference programming February 1–6, 2021. Additional learning opportunities will continue throughout the next two weeks. Finally, our month-long conference experience will culminate with more conference sessions and keynotes, plus the IDEAcon Exhibit Hall, February 22–24, 2021. Attendees will benefit from the expertise and powerful networks of both these organizations worry-free, and at their own pace. In addition, we are excited to offer attendees the opportunity to visit two virtual exposition halls during the month.

Through the partnership between IDEA and TCEA, members and attendees from both organizations will get the benefits of a bigger professional learning network and more ways to learn, explore new technologies, and share their experience.

Illinois Digital Educators Alliance (IDEA) is a statewide 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to leadership in education through technology. IDEA is the largest organization in the state devoted to the use of technology in education and is an organizational affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). For the past 33 years, our nonprofit member organization has played a vital role in supporting the integration of technology in education. Our 2019 conference attracted 5,000 unique attendees, 200 exhibitors, and 400 educational sessions.
