ESCAPE the Conference
Illinois Computing Educators and iSchool Initiative have teamed up this year to bring you ESCAPE the Conference at #ICE19.
What if:
- a large portion of attendees were directly sent to interact with your booth?
- their experience upon arrival was self directed and challenged themselves to learn how to utilize your solution instead of you telling them about it?
- attendees saw first hand how your solutions solve real problems they currently face and they made a deeper connection with your solution?
ESCAPE the Conference increases attendee participation by gamifying the Exhibit Hall with an experience that gets attendees exploring the trade floor and engaging in meaningful discussions with exhibitors. ESCAPE uses core components of Escape Rooms, educational strategies, and technology to create immersive learning experiences to engage potential customers at conferences. Attendees will compete in teams to see who can be the first to escape. Their mission will lead them through the trade floor to interact with different exhibitor booths throughout the experience. How to be a part of the ESCAPE Experience
ESCAPE Booth
Exhibitors who choose a standard ESCAPE Booth will meet with 50% of the game participants, an estimated 750 people. Games will start every half hour and will run whenever the Exhibit Hall is open to the public.
ESCAPE Premier Booth
Exhibitors who choose a premier ESCAPE Booth will meet with 100% of the game participants, an estimated 1,500 people. Games will start every half hour and will run whenever the Exhibit Hall is open to the public.
To be a part of the ESCAPE and increase attendee participation within your booth space, simply begin your booth registration. When choosing your booth, be sure to choose one of the 20' x 10' spaces designated for the ESCAPE experience. These booths will include the standard booth package plus the gaming experience chosen at registration.
