If you're a game-changer, thought leader, storyteller, or simply passionate about sharing what you know with philanthropic professionals, we want to hear from you!

Share and showcase your expertise in the social good sector October 17–19 in Baltimore. Get recognition from industry colleagues and take advantage of unparalleled networking opportunities with other nonprofits, corporation, industry experts, and thought leaders from the social good sector. Please review the following information before submitting a proposal. The deadline to submit is March 21, 2017.

Evaluation Criteria

Blackbaud will review and evaluate each session proposal using the following criteria:

  • Overall quality of content
  • Relevance to Conference audience
  • Timeliness
  • Practical Application

Presentation Format

Each Conference session will be 45 or 60 minutes long. We ask that prospective speakers design sessions that are interactive and engaging to the audience and avoid reading text from a PowerPoint presentation.

Speaker Registration and Travel

Speakers will pay a discounted rate of $400. Blackbaud requires that if you are a consultant, no more than one person from your company will receive the discounted registration rate for speaking. If you plan to submit a proposal with more than one person from your organization, please be aware of this policy change. We ask that speakers who submit session proposals be available for the entire length of the conference (October 17– October 19).

Application Process

An email confirming that we have received your proposal will be sent after you complete and submit your application. This email will include an Abstract Service Center login and password. We recommend saving this information in case you should need to change/edit your proposal.

Please note that we have provided the option to save your application and edit at a later time. If you choose this option, your proposal will not be submitted and you will need to log into the Abstract Service Center to successfully submit the application. All applications that are "in progress" at the time of the submission deadline will not be considered.
