What is ASTA Caribbean Showcase and where will it be taking place?
Think of ASTA Caribbean Showcase as a FAM and Conference combined. ASTA Caribbean Showcase is a fusion of immersive in-person experiences, educational training on destination knowledge, and your gateway to new connections.
In 2025, we are headed to Sandals South Coast, Jamaica!
Water is life. Water is love. And water is the inspiration for everything magnificent at Sandals South Coast. Set along a 2-mile stretch of the pristine south coast of Jamaica, this entire all-inclusive resort has been designed to embrace the coastline. Even its innovations are influenced by water, from Blue Mahoe Overwater Villas and Over-the-Water bar to an Overwater Wedding Chapel. Even the newly reimagined beachfront swim-up suites are all about the healing powers of water.
What is the registration rate, and what does it include?
Travel Advisor registration rates:
Single occupancy room: $1550
Double occupancy room: $2100
Your double occupancy room includes an advisor or non-industry add on to your registration. Please remember, at Sandals South Coast, only king beds are available.
Does the location change from Sandals Ochi to Sandals South Coast (announced on February 12) affect my previous registration?
No, your registration remains the same. Please note that like Sandals Ochi, Sandals South Coast only offers king beds in their accommodations. If you are a previous registrant prior to the location change and would like to cancel your registration, ASTA will offer you a full refund until March 1, 2025.
I am a supplier interested in exhibiting and/or sponsoring. How can I register?

I never want to leave! How do I add pre- or post-nights to my reservation?
To extend your stay, you will need to work directly with the resort by contacting their interline department at 1-800-SANDALS.
I am already registered and want to add a guest. Is this possible?
Absolutely! You can add either a non-industry guest or another ASTA travel advisor member to your registration. To do this, please email meetings@asta.org. Please include all guests demographic details such as first and last name, email, phone number, and whether they are an industry or non-industry attendee.
I regretfully must cancel my registration. How can I do this?
Please send our Events team an email at meetings@asta.org and we will assist you. We also hope you will be able to join us next time. Please take note of our Cancellation Policy below. All cancelation deadlines will honor the date the email request was received.

For cancellations received
On/Before December 1, 2024: Full refund
December 2, 2024-May 31, 2025: 50% of full registration fee refunded per person
On/After June 1, 2025: No refund
*If you registered for the Showcase prior to February 12, 2025, you have the option to request a full refund until March 1, 2025, due to the announcement of the location change from Sandals Ochi to Sandals South Coast.
Which airport would you recommend flying into?
Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (approximately 40 miles from Sandals South Coast). Shuttle service is available for resort guests. Non-stop flight service is offered from several U.S. cities, including New York City, Chicago, Boston, Dallas and Miami.
What is the typical weather in Jamaica during August?
Caribbean temperatures are warm year-round and August is Jamaica's warmest month. Temperatures can range between 75-90°F. August is also the height of the rainy season, so there is the possibility for some rain (usually in the later afternoon). Don't forget to pack sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for education/networking events during the daytime is business or resort casual. More elegant attire is required for evening events. All sightseeing activities are casual dress with comfortable walking shoes.
Do you recommend I have travel insurance for this trip?

Sandals Resorts prioritize guest safety with robust security measures at all its properties, including the Sandals South Coast resort in Jamaica. These measures include staff trained in safety and security, gated entrances, video surveillance, and background checks for all staff. Transportation is provided by the resort to and from the airport for all resort guests. Group transportation for offsite excursions and property tours during the Caribbean Showcase will be arranged via ASTA/Sandals. This transportation is exclusively for Caribbean Showcase attendees.
As always, we encourage our members—and all travelers—to be mindful of their surroundings while traveling and to exercise caution when advised by local authorities or travel hosts. To that end, our ASTA staff have traveled to Jamaica and the South Coast property this past year with no issue or concerns as we continue our preparations to welcome attendees for the event. As such, free cancellations are not being offered and the standard Cancellation policy rates/dates apply.
