Mind Your Mental Health: Navigating Higher Ed in the 21st Century

The theme for the 2021 Fall Drive-In Conference is “Mind Your Mental Health: Navigating Higher Ed in the 21st Century”. The statistics on this issue are alarming and there is such an urgent need to educate people on the issues of mental health. The purpose of this conference is dedicated to support, advocate, and care for the importance of mental health during a pandemic and navigating our new normal post COVID-19. Participants will have the opportunity to join various breakout sessions on topics impacting higher education, engage in various mindfulness activities, and hear from Dr. Kimberly Poole, Senior Associate Dean of Students at Clemson University, who has over a decade of experience in being a license professional counselor. It is our hope that each attendee will leave empowered, educated, and enlightened on tips and tricks that will assist them in their various occupations and leave a lasting impression on those around them.
