MCPA 2018 Fall Conference

The MCPA Fall Conference 2018 planning team is committed to upholding the values and mission of ACPA-College Student Educators International.

This year our annual MCPA Fall Conference will have the theme “We are MCPA” and will be held on October 12, 2018 at Loyola University Maryland's Columbia Graduate Center. This conference will provide attendees with opportunities to:

1. Reflect on professional and personal experiences which guide their work;

2. Connect and network with other practitioners through intentional idea sharing and collaboration;

3. Pursue professional and personal development opportunities through various engagement avenues.

Program Proposals
The success of the MCPA Fall Conference lies on the quantity and quality of the programs presented. Your involvement is needed to help make this conference a meaningful learning experience for all! We invite you to consider submitting proposals, individually or with colleagues. The planning committee welcomes proposals for educational sessions on topics from all functional areas and professional levels with the hope for a well-rounded menu of options. The deadline for program submissions is September 15, 2018.

Award Nominations
In addition to submitting a program proposal, MCPA invites nominations for recognition awards. The seven categories of awards recognize the service and contributions of professionals and student leaders across the state. Award winners will be recognized at both the annual MCPA and ACPA conferences.

Professional Staff Member Conference Registration (Non-ACPA Member):

  • $55 up until October 1st

  • $90 from October 1st - October 9th

  • $100 Day of rate with no prior registration (walk-in)

Professional Staff Member Conference Registration (ACPA Member):

  • $35 up until October 1st

  • $45 from October 1st - October 9th

  • $55 Day of rate with no prior registration (walk-in)

Student Conference Registration:

  • $25 for graduate students

  • $15 for undergraduate students

East Coast Graduate Fair rates for schools/programs:

  • No cost if representative is attending conference

  • $15 for one table and one representative*

  • $5 to present materials, no representative
    *If a representative is not attending the conference, there is an option to add a meal during registration

The deadline to register for the conference is Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 or when we reach maximum attendance capacity, whichever comes first. 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Further conference information, including the schedule, will be shared as it becomes available.
