The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) hosts one of the largest professional development events for leaders from all levels of the community college. Programming focuses on innovation and evidence-based strategies designed to improve student outcomes. More than 2,000 faculty, mid-managers, senior leaders (vice presidents and provosts), federal agency and foundation representatives, business and industry leaders, and vendors converge at the AACC Annual Convention to examine trends and provide solutions to the most prominent issues facing the sector.
Traditionally, the AACC Annual Convention is hosted in-person to encourage networking and sharing. Due to COVID-19, the meeting is being offered online for 2021 as AACC Digital, which includes shorter sessions and a number of chat rooms to continue the conversation. As an additional option, AACC is offering live and on-demand workshops, which will allow individuals to take a deep dive into topics that most interest them.
The Digital sessions will take place on Thursdays in May. Workshops will be offered on Wednesdays in May.
