HOTEL CONFIRMATION INFORMATION

Hotel confirmations were sent directly from the Omni Shoreham Hotel on October 9. The hotel’s email included the confirmation number, dates of stay, and the full conference rate.

Please note:

  • The hotel confirmation will not reflect any complimentary nights included with your conference registration.

  • If your lodging is covered by AACC, you will were sent a separate email from E-Show on October 9 confirming that your hotel billing has been routed to AACC’s master account.

After October 9, you may also log in to the Attendee Service Center to verify that your hotel billing information is correct.

Note: All changes and cancellations after October 9 need to be made directly with the Omni Shoreham Hotel by contacting 202-234-0700.

HOTEL

Conference Housing Block: The 2025 ATE Conference will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC. AACC is holding a block of rooms for conference participants at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. 
Hotel Room Reservations: All participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations through AACC's Housing Form by the deadline of October 2. The hotel room block is limited to registered ATE Conference participants. AACC has a room block at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC.
AACC serves as its housing bureau. Hotel reservations must be made through the registration form or Attendee Service Center to obtain the group rate.
Please be aware of booking lodging through third-party sites. We cannot transfer those reservations into the ATE Conference housing block. All participants need to book lodging through AACC’s block by using our housing form.
Your hotel reservation will remain pending until October 2, 2025, when your reservation is turned over to the hotel. Please give the hotel a few days to input all reservations. After October 6, you may contact the hotel directly to modify or cancel your housing reservation.
Please note you will need to provide a credit card number to guarantee your room. Be sure to register for the conference and make your hotel reservation through the registration form, or by logging back into the Attendee Service Center, before Thursday, October 2. If reservations are not made by October 2 (the cutoff date for room reservations and special conference rate), you will need to contact the Omni Shoreham Hotel directly. At that time, there may no longer be room availability, and/or you will be responsible for any difference in room costs above the conference rates.
Hotel Costs and Designated Participants: The participants that register as complimentary on a grant (two for projects and two for centers) will automatically have the cost of their hotel rooms for three nights, October 28, October 29, and October 30 charged to the AACC master account. If a project or center would like to assign their complimentary room nights to individuals that are not receiving the complimentary registrations as part of their grants, email that request to ate@aacc.nche.edu by October 2 so AACC can properly code the hotel reservation list. Please note that AACC will not split complimentary hotel room nights between participants; but can designate the three complimentary nights to another team member.
All participants are required to make their own hotel reservation through AACC’s ATE Conference registration form or by logging into the Attendee Service Center after you have registered for the event. Complimentary rooms will be assigned to the master account following the October 2 cut-off date.
Additional Room Costs: The cost of additional rooms (reserved by October 2) is $290 (single/double) plus tax and will be billed to the individual. Meeting participants who would like to come early or stay late may do so any pay the cost of additional room nights at the rate of $290.00. The hotels will honor this room rate three days prior and three days after the conference dates subject to availability.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are to receive a complimentary hotel room for three nights, please double check that your room has been coded correctly upon hotel check-in. If your room has not been properly coded to the master account, please report it to the conference registration desk so we can correct the billing prior to your check-out.

 

TRAVEL

All attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The closest airport to the conference is the Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA), which is accessible by the Washington Metrorail System. Other area airports include Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) or Washington Dulles International (IAD).

Metrorail system: Reagan National Airport is accessible to the Washington Metrorail System. Follow signs to the metro station. Board the yellow line train towards Mount Vernon Square. Get off at Gallery Place Chinatown Metro Station. Transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove. Ride the Red Line to Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit Station at 24th ST NW & Connecticut Avenue. Walk SW on 24th Street and turn right onto Calvert Street. For further information on the metrorail system, please see www.wmata.com.

Taxi Service: Taxis are available at each terminal. One-way fares to DC are approximately $27.00.
Uber/Lyft Service: Uber, Lyft provide service from Reagan National airport. One-way fares to DC are approximately $29.00 (depending on time of day).
Directions from Reagan National Airport: Follow George Washington Pkwy. northbound to Wash. D.C.; follow past the Pentagon to the Memorial Bridge; while on the Bridge get into right lane and exit at Independence Ave.; follow Independence Ave. back under the Bridge along the Potomac River (this becomes Rock Creek Pkwy.); get into left lane; road splits after passing under Bridge, bear left; exit left at Calvert Street; turn left off ramp; hotel is located on the left.

Metrorail System: Dulles airport is connected via the Silver Line to the Metrorail system. The station is connected to the main terminal by an indoor pedestrian tunnel with moving sidewalks. Follow signs to Dulles Metrorail Station. Board Silver Line train towards LARGO. Take train to Metro Center Station. Exit and transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove. Board the Red line to Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station. Exit at Woodley Park-Zoo station at 24th St NW & Connecticut Avenue NW. Walk to destination. See WMATA trip planner for more details.
Taxi Service: Washington Flyer Taxi, 703-572-8294. No reservations are necessary for taxi service. Simply follow the signs for Ground Transportation or Taxi to the lower level of the Terminal, DOWN the ramp to Door 1 or Door 6). A customer service representative is available 24 hours a day. One-way fares to DC are approximately $85.00.
Uber/Lyft Service: A pick-up location is available at Dulles for Uber and Lyft on the ground level outside of Baggage Claim, accessible via Doors 2, 4 or 6. One-way fares to DC are approximately $65.00 (depending on time of day).
Directions: Take the Dulles Airport Access Road to Route 66 East. Cross into DC on the Roosevelt Bridge onto Constitution Avenue. Take a left on 18th Street. Take a left on Connecticut Avenue. Go through the underpass at Dupont Circle. Cross the Taft Bridge. Take a left on Calvert Street. The Omni Hotel is one block up on the left.

Taxi Service: The taxi stands are located just outside of the baggage claim area on the Lower Level of the BWI Marshall Airport terminal near doors 5 and 13. BWI Marshall Airport taxicabs are prohibited from charging flat rates. For more information, call 410-859-1100 or visit www.bwiairporttaxi.com. One-way fares to DC are approximately, $100.
Uber/Lyft Service: App-based ride services pick up and drop off passengers along the outer curb of the Departures/Upper Level between Doors #5-12. Crosswalks leading to the outer curb are located near Doors 5, 8 and 12. One-way fares to DC are approximately $70 (depending on time of day).
Directions: Take 1-95 South to I-495 West (Capital Beltway) toward Silver Spring (Exit 33). Take Connecticut Avenue South toward Washington, DC. Proceed 5 miles, passing the National Zoo on the left. Proceed 5 blocks and take a right onto Calvert Street. The Omni Hotel is one block up on the left.
