Call for Proposals

The AACC Annual Convention has been the premier event for community college leaders. The meeting has offered unprecedented professional development as well as the opportunity to network, share, and learn from professionals in the fields of education, business and industry, and the government sector. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing requirements, the format for Annual Convention, or AACC Live has been revamped with a focus on workshop-based sessions, allowing attendees to dig deeper into topics and put practice into action. This format change will also allow for effective social distancing, while maintaining the high quality content for which we are known.

Please review all instructions before completing AACC Live requirements. Once your form is submitted, it cannot be edited or modified. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines outlined on our convention proposals page will not be reviewed, and notification will not be sent to main contact that the proposal was submitted incorrectly.

AACC is currently accepting Curated Facilitated Learning (CFL) for consideration for AACC Live. Curated Facilitated Learning is a focus on high-priority trends and issues impacting community colleges delivered with lesson outlines, case studies, visual aids and resources, and hands-on activities that will allow participants to put their learning into immediate action.

The deadline for submissions for AACC Live has been extended to January 8, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

To lead a section within a workshop, presenters must have tools and resources, along with providing hands-on activities (i.e., case studies, templates, etc.) that allow participants to put their learning into immediate action.

Workshop leads must be AACC institutional or educational associate members or current corporate partners. Non-members may serve on a panel but cannot lead.
