Lee Gould is a Director of Global Fraud Management at Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation). She has worked at PlayStation for over 9 years now focused exclusively on Data and Fraud Analytic challenges. Lee’s teams (Research & Operations) are involved in identifying and remediating all types of fraud vectors that intersect with a Platform as large as PlayStation. She has a lot of experience working on all the major classes of issues in the chain of loss as characterized by Credential Stuffing -> Account Take Over / Fake Accounts -> VC Monetization / Game Sharing . Lee and her team work closely with publishers from the ground up to help protect the publishers game. Prior to working at PlayStation Lee spent over 15 year working on Wall Street and Financial Services firms focused on Trading and Portfolio Management and Financial Services Data Problems. Lee has an MBA in Operations Research. Lee’s motto to borrow from Brene Brown is that “If stories are nothing more than Data with a Soul …” Then I am a master story teller.

Fraud in Gaming Disrupting the Bad in the Good
This presentation focuses on the type of fraud models that happen in the gaming industry. The presentation identifies the models, strategies to deal with them and a framework on how to approach these problems. The types of models will include Password List Attack (Credential Stuffing), Account Take Over, Game Fraud, Fake Account fraud amongst Others. The goal of the presentation which is being delivered at MRC in San Diego in OCtober for the first time is to provide folks who are new to fraud and those who are seasoned professional to come up with optimal strategies.
